(ĐN)- Over the last eight months of this year, four new cooperatives were already set up, involving 65 members with registered charter capital of 1.5 billion VND. To date, there are approximately 140 cooperatives including 28,500 members with charter capital of sum nearly VND 60 billion.
Cooperatives are speeding up to diversify their services that help to bring about full employment and raise the living standard of their members. Many cooperatives performed in-depth investment of science-technology, infrastructure, marketing and market expansion…These facilitate the growth of cooperatives and bring concrete financial benefits to cooperatives.
According to Dong Nai Co-operative Alliance, collective economic sector will hit its target 2010 of established 270 cooperatives that operate in the fields of agriculture, commerce, service, industry and small-scale industry, market, transport. At that time, Cooperatives’ revenues will rise to 20%-25% of GDP of the whole province. The figure presents an increase of 12% compared to now.
