Construction begins on two transport projects connecting to Long Thanh Airport

According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, a consortium of contractors has accessed the construction sites and taken over the cleared land to build worker camps and site offices, ensuring the necessary conditions are in place for the commencement of the DT.769 road upgrade and expansion project and the DT.770B road construction project.

To facilitate project implementation, the City Construction Investment Project Management Board has proposed priority construction sections to the relevant agencies and local authorities.

For the DT.769 road upgrade and expansion project, the proposed priority construction sections include the segment from Km 0+600 to Km 1+600, approximately 1 km in length; the segment from Km 1+600 to Km 3+000, approximately 1.4 km long; the segment from Km 17+200 to Km 23+900, 6 km long; and the segment from Km 23+900 to Km 26+500, approximately 2.6 km long.

For the DT.770B road project, five priority construction sections have been identified in the communes of Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, and Phuoc Thai and the wards of Binh Loc, Xuan Lap, and Dau Giay, covering nearly 18 km of the project's total 42 km route. Priority has also been given to handing over sites for three bridges and their access roads in Xuan Duong, Phuoc Thai, and Dau Giay, as well as an excavation site for road embankment material from Km 47+000 to Km 53+000 in Phuoc Thai commune.

Dong Nai City officially launched the DT.769 road upgrade and expansion project, along with the DT.770B road project, on July 10, 2026. The two projects will play an important role in connecting localities in Dong Nai City with Long Thanh International Airport.

The DT.770B road project is more than 42 km long and passes through nine communes and wards in Dong Nai City. Under the master plan, the route will be built to its ultimate design scale of six to eight lanes with a width of 60 m. In the first phase, the route is being constructed with six motorized lanes and a road width of 45.5 m.

The DT.769 road upgrade and expansion project has a total length of nearly 30 km, connecting the Dau Giay intersection with National Highway 51. The route will be upgraded and expanded to a scale of six to eight lanes and passes through Dau Giay Ward, Binh An Commune and Long Thanh Ward.
