The Prime Minister stressed the importance of strengthening international solidarity to build collective strength, promoting multilateralism, and fostering cooperation to generate resources and material wealth. Active engagement in consultations, meetings, and international forums is essential to reinforce and build mutual trust.
Regarding future situation, the Prime Minister underscored that the overarching objective must be to achieve double-digit growth. This target is applied across ministries, sectors, localities, enterprises, and institutions - including Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad. International integration must be embedded within the broader framework of rapid and sustainable national development.
On measures to further advance international integration, the Prime Minister called for a continued deep grasp of policies and renewed thinking to adapt to the new situation; shape a favorable landscape and environment for the country to enter a new era of national advancement; upholding Vietnam’s important role and credibility, generating momentum, and unlocking new opportunities for development - thereby directly contributing to the double-digit growth target; and actively engaging to enhance the country’s position and reputation in global politics, the world economy, and human civilization.
Emphasizing a spirit of proactiveness, positivity, creativity, and innovation to adapt flexibly and effectively to the new situation, the Prime Minister stressed that foreign affairs and international integration must contribute to building a powerful, civilized, and happy country, ensuring that people benefit from the outcomes of international integration.
The Prime Minister also expressed his expectation and confidence that ministries, sectors, localities, and members of the Steering Committee will uphold the principle: what is said must be done; what is committed must be delivered; and what is implemented must be effective - focusing only on action, not retreat. With unified leadership from the Party, coordination from the Government, support from the National Assembly, backing from the people, and expectation from the Fatherland, collective efforts will overcome challenges, turn adversity into opportunity, and transform risks into national competitive advantages.
In recent years, Dong Nai province has proactively and comprehensively implemented foreign affairs and international integration activities, achieving notable results. The province has enhanced the effectiveness of international economic integration and strengthened cooperative ties with foreign partners and localities. Notably, during Party General Secretary To Lam’s state visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Dong Nai reaffirmed its pioneering role in local-level diplomacy, while further promoting cultural diplomacy and external communications.
Dong Nai province hoped that the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee for International Integration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other ministries and central agencies will continue to support the locality in connecting with international partners, promoting investment, developing human resources, and sharing expertise in international integration. The province also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a proactive and innovative approach, enhancing the effectiveness of international integration efforts, and contributing to the successful implementation of its socio-economic development goals, as well as to the country’s overall progress.
