In the festive atmosphere of the Kingdom of Cambodia’s traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year celebration, on the morning of April 9, a Dong Nai provincial delegation, led by Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC), paid a working visit and offered New Year greetings to the authorities and people of Mondulkiri province.
Men Nguoi, Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party and Chairman of the Mondulkiri Provincial People's Council, along with the provincial leaders and heads of agencies, units, and armed forces received and worked with the delegation.

In a friendly atmosphere, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the PPC, wished the leaders and people of Mondulkiri province a happy and prosperous new year. He expressed his joy at the host province's comprehensive development achievements, and underlined that trade relations, especially in agricultural products, have contributed positively to the socio-economic development of both provinces.
The Deputy Secretary of the PPC also provided information on the socio-economic situation of Dong Nai province, as well as the strategic turning point following the Vietnamese Government's issuance of a resolution on April 6, 2026, regarding the establishment of Dong Nai as a centrally governed city.
Sharing a border with Cambodia of approximately 259 km, including 103 km within Mondulkiri province, Dong Nai province is committed to continuing close coordination with Mondulkiri province in maintaining border security and order, and effectively implementing the cooperation agreement for the 2026-2030 period signed on February 6, 2026. This includes offering ten full scholarships between 2026 and 2030 for students from the host province to attend universities and colleges across Dong Nai.
During the visit, Men Nguoi, Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party and Chairman of the Mondulkiri Provincial People's Council, expressed his sincere gratitude for Dong Nai’s goodwill. He affirmed that Mondulkiri and Dong Nai provinces will continue to promote their special traditional friendship and effectively implement cooperation contents, contributing to the successful realization of high-level agreements and the joint statement of the 13th Vietnam-Cambodia Conference on Cooperation and Development of border provinces.
On this occasion, Dong Nai province presented meaningful gifts to the authorities of Mondulkiri province, helping to further solidify their good neighborliness.
