Accordingly, information on the Election Law, including amendments to the 2025 Law on Election of deputies to the NA and People’s Councils, as well as election principles and procedures are being actively disseminated by schools’ administrations, Youth Union chapters and Students’ Associations. The communication efforts are not limited to students with permanent residence in Dong Nai but also focus on safeguarding the voting rights of those temporarily residing in the province.

Le Son Quang, a dormitory management officer at Lac Hong University, said that over the past few days, the dormitory’s internal loudspeaker system has continuously broadcast information bulletins about the upcoming election of deputies to the NA and People’s Councils at all levels. In addition, the university’s Youth Union and Students’ Association have incorporated election-related topics into regular Youth Union and student meetings.

Notably, the dormitory management board has reviewed and compiled a list of more than 400 out-of-province students currently registering temporary residence in Tran Bien ward in order to guide them through the necessary procedures and ensure their voting rights. For students whose permanent residence is in Dong Nai, the university has encouraged them to arrange time to return to their localities to fully exercise their civic rights in the election.

At Dong Nai University in Tam Hiep ward, the university’s leadership has directed Youth Union and students’ organization to coordinate in widely disseminating information about the Election Law, voting procedures and the background of candidates. The university has also provided clear legal guidance so that students unable to return to their permanent residences can still cast their ballots for deputies to NA and Provincial People’s Council at their places of temporary residence.

Meanwhile, at Mien Dong Innovative Technology University in Dau Giay commune, the university has delivered comprehensive communication about election-related matters to both on-campus and off-campus students. The university Youth Union has requested its members to set an example by actively participating in the election and demonstrating civic responsibility. Some students living far from their hometowns have contacted their families to obtain confirmation letters that allow them to vote at their temporary residence. Others said that since election day falls on Sunday (March 15), they plan to return home to vote while visiting their families.

Representatives of the boards of rectors at several universities, colleges and vocational intermediate schools in the province affirmed that, in order for students to fully carry out their civic rights and responsibilities this weekend, schools will not organize classes, tests or examinations on Saturday (March 14) and Sunday (March 15). Academic activities will therefore be temporarily suspended, creating the best possible conditions for young voters to proudly cast their ballots and contribute to the overall success of the election.
