The Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1043/QD-UBND dated March 26, 2026, on recognizing Tri An as a Safe Zone commune in Dong Nai province.

The recognition of Tri An as a Safe Zone commune in Dong Nai province is based on the Law on Organization of Local Administration dated June 16, 2025, and Decision No. 40/2025/QD-TTg dated October 31, 2025, of the Prime Minister regulating criteria, order, and procedures for recognizing island communes and safe-haven communes during the resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism. The decision is also made upon the proposal of the Tri An commune People's Committee and the Department of Home Affairs.

According to Decision No. 1043/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee, Tri An commune will be entitled to preferential policies for safe zone communes in accordance with current regulations.

The recognition of Tri An as a Safe Zone commune is not only a great honor but also a well-deserved acknowledgment of the contributions and sacrifices made by generations of local people in the struggle for national liberation and defense.

Safe zone areas are localities of particular strategic significance during the resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism. These places sheltered, nurtured, and protected revolutionary forces. The recognition of safe zone communes not only holds profound historical significance but also provides additional preferential policies that contribute to promoting socio-economic development, improving the lives of the people, and continuing to uphold the locality’s revolutionary traditions.
