In line with tasks assigned under the plan to organize the Dong Nai provincial “Spring at the Border” Program 2026 issued by the provincial People’s Committee, Dong Nai University, on the morning of January 31, organized a chung cake (square glutinous rice cake) making festival and the “Spring at the Border” program of Dong Nai province 2026. Participants included the university’s Board of Rectors and the university Trade Union.

The program was jointly organized by Dong Nai University in coordination with the provincial Military Command and the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment.

Accordingly, officials, lecturers, staff, and students of the university, together with officers and soldiers from the coordinating units, made 1,000 chung cakes. The preparation of ingredients, the making process, and the cooking of the cakes were all carried out in compliance with food safety requirements.
After cooking, the cakes will be vacuum-sealed to extend their shelf life. They are expected to be delivered directly to officers, soldiers, and residents in the border communes of Dong Nai province early next week.
