On the morning of February 2, a working delegation representing the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, led by Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Commission, visited and conveyed Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to officers and personnel of Air Regiment 935 (Division 370, Air Defence–Air Force Service).

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Commission, conveyed his best wishes for 2026 to the officers and soldiers of Air Regiment 935. Dong Nai’s provincial leadership highly valued the regiment’s record of outstandingly fulfilling the duties assigned by the Party, the State and the military in recent years. Notably, during a year marked by major national events in 2025, Air Regiment 935 successfully completed key assignments, including A50 - the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification - and A80 - the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
Air Regiment 935 has capably fulfilled its duty to safeguard the nation’s airspace and maritime sovereignty. The Party organisation, authorities and people of Dong Nai express their sincere appreciation for the regiment’s contributions to national air defence, which have helped maintain political stability and create favourable conditions for socio-economic development across the country, including in Dong Nai province.

The Party Organisation and authorities of Dong Nai Province stand ready to provide Air Regiment 935 with the attention, support and most favourable conditions needed to carry out its assigned duties with distinction. Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Commission, extended his Tet wishes to all officers and soldiers of the regiment to “keep a steady hand on the controls and hold the skies firm” in safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

On behalf of the unit, Colonel Nguyen Van Thuong, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Air Regiment 935, reported to the working delegation on the unit’s notable achievements in 2025. Accordingly, the regiment fulfilled its duties in managing and protecting the southern airspace, maintained strict combat readiness, conducted patrol and reconnaissance missions, and ensured absolute safety in flight training.
In the lead-up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the regiment has drawn up a tightly structured round-the-clock combat-readiness plan to firmly safeguard the nation’s airspace and maritime sovereignty. At the same time, it has ensured that all material and morale provisions are in place so that officers and soldiers can celebrate the holiday safely and thriftily, while remaining ready to undertake their duties in any situation.
