Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the PPC Vo Tan Duc praised and appreciated the efforts and achievements of doctors, officials, and staff of Dong Nai’s health sector in recent years. He also called on the health sector to continue fostering unity and thoroughly grasping the Party’s guidelines on protecting, caring for, and improving public health; enhancing its advisory role in translating these guidelines into appropriate mechanisms and policies; and ensuring that healthcare truly serves as a pillar of social security. He also stressed the need to firmly consolidate grassroots healthcare and preventive medicine systems; strengthen monitoring and forecasting capacity; and proactively prevent and control diseases to avoid passivity in emerging situations.

The health sector needs to accelerate the application of science and technology, promote comprehensive digital transformation, and build a modern, transparent healthcare system that serves citizens more efficiently. Special attention should be paid to developing high-quality medical human resources in tandem with fostering medical ethics, enhancing responsibility and service attitudes, and building the image of dedicated and professional physicians. At the same time, synchronous solutions are required to attract and retain talented personnel; strengthen discipline, prevent negative practices; improve the effectiveness of state management; and consolidate public trust.
