Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labour organizes “Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party” program

On the evening of February 2, at the Event Organization Center in Trang Bom commune, the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labour held the “Tet Reunion – Spring of Gratitude to the Party” program to support the material and spiritual well-being of trade union members and workers facing difficult circumstances.

Attending the event were Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chair of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labour Nguyen Quoc Dung, along with local leaders, representatives of grassroots trade unions, and more than 1,000 workers.

The program took place in a warm and caring atmosphere with many practical activities such as lucky draws, prize-winning games, and cultural and artistic performances welcoming Spring. Notably, at the event, the provincial Federation of Labour presented 200 disadvantaged workers’ families with gift packages valued at 2.3 million VND each, including cash and gifts. At the same time, gifts worth 1 million VND each were given to 40 workers in difficult circumstances who were unable to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.

In addition to the gifts presented during the program, in Area 2, home to 150,000 union members from the former districts of Trang Bom and Vinh Cuu, the provincial Federation of Labour allocated nearly 17,000 gift packages worth close to 17 billion VND to support disadvantaged union members and workers during the 2026 Lunar New Year. This effort helped workers feel more secure in their jobs and enjoy a warm, fulfilling Tet holiday.

Speaking at the program, Nguyen Quoc Dung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chair of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Chairman of the provincial Federation of Labour, emphasized that in 2025, thanks to the continuous efforts and dedication of workers and laborers, they not only stabilized their own lives and those of their families but also made significant contributions to the province’s socio-economic development. On behalf of the Standing Committee of the provincial Federation of Labour, he expressed sincere thanks to all workers and laborers for their contributions.

“Entering 2026, the provincial Federation of Labour hopes that workers and laborers will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, strive to overcome difficulties, actively engage in labor and production, and contribute to building Dong Nai into an increasingly developed, civilized, and modern locality”, Chairman of the provincial Federation of Labour Nguyen Quoc Dung stressed.
