Dong Nai NA Delegation visits and presents Tet gifts to residents

On February 5, the Dong Nai Provincial National Assembly (NA) deputies organized visits and presented Lunar New Year (Tet) gifts for the Year of the Horse 2026 to policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged residents, and religious institutions across the province.

The Dong Nai Provincial NA Delegation included comrades: Bui Xuan Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and full-time Deputy Head of the Dong Nai NA Delegation; Trinh Xuan An, full-time Deputy of the NA’s Committee for National Defense and Security; and Le Hoang Hai, full-time Deputy of the NA’s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment. The delegation gave 120 gift packages (each valued at VND 500,000) to disadvantaged households in Trang Dai and Long Binh wards.

Speaking at the event, a representative of the Dong Nai Provincial NA Delegation emphasized that caring for policy beneficiary families, poor people, and vulnerable groups reflects the responsibility and heartfelt support of the Party, the State, and the NA deputies. In doing so, the deputies hoped to help local residents enjoy a warm and peaceful traditional Tet, while extending wishes for good health, happiness, and a joyful new year to the local people.

On the same day, Nguyen Cong Long, full-time Deputy of the NA’s Committee for Law and Justice, visited Phuoc Quang Pagoda in Phuoc Thai Commune to extend Tet greetings and present gifts. The pagoda currently cares for 39 ill nuns facing financial hardship and 20 disadvantaged novice monks.

These activities highlight the Dong Nai Provincial NA delegation’s care and sharing spirit, contributing to spreading solidarity and compassion and ensuring that disadvantaged residents can welcome Tet in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
