The leader of the Ministry of Health emphasized that, in addition to carrying out national defense and security duties, the border guard force in Dak O has in recent years closely coordinated with the local health sector in caring for, protecting, and improving the health of people in border areas. The force has actively participated in disease prevention and control, medical examinations and treatment, and public communication to raise awareness of hygiene and disease prevention among local communities, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the all-people border defense posture in close linkage with a strong grassroots healthcare system. These results reflect the spirit of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” in the new era, always serving the people and standing as a reliable pillar for Party committees, authorities, and local residents.

The year 2026 is of significant importance in implementing the objectives of a new phase of socio-economic development, during which the tasks of safeguarding national border sovereignty and maintaining political security and social order continue to pose very high demands. Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen expressed his hope that officers and soldiers of the Dak O Border Guard Post will continue to uphold their heroic tradition, remain united, proactively grasp the situation, and coordinate effectively with relevant forces, while also paying attention to the material and spiritual well-being of personnel so that each officer and soldier can work with peace of mind and remain long-term committed to the unit and the area.

The Ministry of Health will continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense, the Border Guard Force, and the local health sector in providing healthcare to officers, soldiers, and residents in border areas, contributing to the building of a peaceful, stable, and sustainably developed border region.
