Warm year-end union meal for more than 40,000 workers

On January 9, the grassroots trade union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province), in coordination with the company’s Board of Directors, organized a year-end union meal for more than 40,000 workers.

Attending and sharing the meal with workers were Nguyen Tat Do, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, and Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial  Federation of Labour.

The year-end union meal was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere. Each meal portion was valued at 55,000 VND, more than double the cost of a regular daily shift meal. Every portion was carefully prepared to ensure adequate nutrition, thereby contributing to the health and work capacity of workers, while also demonstrating the deep concern of the company’s leadership and the trade union for the lives of union members and workers.

As part of the program, lucky draw activities were held, offering numerous valuable prizes, including motorbikes, washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, microwave ovens, and induction cooktops. On this occasion, the trade union also presented awards to teams participating in sports competitions and cultural performances, which featured many impressive acts performed by workers from various workshops.
