Dong Nai currently has three public high schools receiving sponsorship from the Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam) for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education practice classrooms, including Thong Nhat A High School in Trang Bom Commune.

For teachers and students at Thong Nhat A High School, the handover of a fully equipped and modern STEM education practice classroom is highly meaningful. It provides fresh motivation for the school to further strengthen its science and engineering research, which has earned the school numerous top prizes at provincial and national levels in the secondary student science and engineering competition.

Discussing the new facility, Nguyen Thanh Phuong, a technology teacher at the school, said the newly sponsored practice room houses thousands of pieces of equipment, particularly advanced technology devices such as 3D printers, laser cutters, robots, electron microscopes, interactive screens, and a system of laptops to support learning activities.

In addition, the room has been equipped with modules for IoT (Internet of Things) and artificial intelligence (AI), closely aligned with modern educational trends. This will provide a favourable environment to inspire students’ interest in technology, helping them turn ideas into practical science and engineering projects in the coming period.
