Notably, alongside traditional markets, several European markets such as Germany, Poland, Hungary, and Romania recorded a upward trend, particularly in the fields of nursing, caregiving, and technical labor, signaling gradual shift toward markets with higher requirements for skills and qualifications.
A number of memoranda of understanding on labor cooperation with foreign countries and partners were signed or extended during the year, creating a stable legal framework for manpower export in the coming period.
Building on these results, the Ministry of Home Affairs has set a target of sending approximately 112,000 Vietnamese to work overseas in 2026, with a focus on high-income and stable markets.
