Firm confidence in the 14th National Party Congress

These days, a vibrant emulation spirit has been spreading from key projects to production and business activities, as well as study and work across agencies and units throughout the province. This atmosphere has helped kindle determination, strengthen confidence, and inspire the aspiration to contribute among cadres, Party members, civil servants, civil servants, workers, and people from all walks of life, thereby contributing to the celebration of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (the 14th National Party Congress).

One of the many practical activities carried out by Dong Nai Province to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress was the organization of construction commencement, ground-breaking and technical traffic opening ceremonies for seven infrastructure projects, with a total investment of over VND 50 trillion, on January 15.

Substantive activities

Among the seven projects is the Cat Lai Bridge Project, with a total length of more than 11.6 kilometers, featuring six lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for non-motorized vehicles, designed to modern standards. The Cat Lai Bridge is one of the transport projects that the people of Dong Nai have been awaiting for more than three decades. More than just a standalone traffic work, the Cat Lai Bridge serves as a strategic connecting axis, contributing to the completion of the inter-regional transport network and strengthening connectivity between Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province. It will also provide effective links to Long Thanh International Airport, the seaport system, industrial parks, urban areas, and the nation’s arteries.

In addition, the province held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Long Hung Bridge Project, a bridge identified as playing a particularly important role in easing traffic pressure on existing routes connecting Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City. On the same day, the province also organized the technical opening to traffic for the Dong Nai Riverside Road Project, a route that has been synchronously invested in and serves not only as a traffic axis but also as a riverside scenic route, gradually realizing the orientation of urban development toward the Dong Nai River. At the same time, construction was commenced on four other projects, including the groundbreaking of Nha Bich Bridge on National Highway 14 and three social housing projects.

In many communes and wards across the province, projects and initiatives in celebration of the 14th National Congress of the Party are also being implemented in a practical manner, closely linked with tasks for socio-economic development and improving people’s livelihoods.

Tran Lam Sinh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Xuan Bac Commune, shared that in 2025, the Xuan Bac Commune Party Committee achieved and surpassed all 39 key targets in the fields of socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and the development of the political system. Notably, budget revenue exceeded the target by more than 122 percent, social welfare was well taken care of, and people’s living standards have continued to improve.

Building on the achievements, in 2026, the Commune Party Committee will focus its leadership and direction on implementing the breakthrough tasks set out in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, with the determination to strive for double-digit growth. To achieve these goals, Party committees and authorities at all levels, along with cadres and Party members, are always deeply aware of the strength of unity, ensuring one mind top to bottom and smooth coordination across length and breadth while promoting the exemplary role and responsibility of leaders. This is regarded as the guiding principle for entering 2026 with a new mindset and renewed determination, striving to record achievements in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress and to successfully lead and organize the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in the commune.

Sharing the same spirit of looking toward the 14th National Party Congress, Dong Nai’s contingent of writers and artists have conveyed their sentiments, confidence, and expectations for the Congress through works of literature and art, poetry, music, and paintings, among others

Nguyen Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Tri An Commune People’s Committee, said that in a practical move to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and implement the “Skillful Mass Mobilization” emulation movement, on the morning of January 15, the Tri An Commune People’s Committee launched the model “Morning Coffee with the People.” The model is held periodically from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. every Thursday morning at the headquarters of the Commune Integrated Service Center (the former headquarters of Vinh Cuu District Library).

The “Morning Coffee with the People” model operates under the motto of listening and understanding in order to accompany, share, and support, with the aim of continuing to build a friendly, people-serving government, while also shaping the image of a service-oriented, modern, fast, and convenient administration. It helps promptly grasp and address difficulties and problems faced by residents and businesses. Through this model, the local authorities listen to and receive feedback and initiatives from the people, thereby contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the commune.

In practical celebration of the 14th National Party Congress, these days, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Bau Ham commune and the commune’s socio-political organizations have launched a campaign calling on all cadres, union members, association members, and local residents to regularly clean up the environment, contributing to building a green, clean, beautiful, and civilized landscape.

Nguyen Thi Hoat, a resident of Bau Ham Commune, commented that this activity not only helps improve the living environment and create a more presentable appearance for the locality, but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility and self-awareness of cadres, Party members, and the people in joining hands to protect the environment. Through this, a vibrant emulation atmosphere is created, spreading the spirit of unity among all strata of the people.

Pham Thi Toan Lanh, Chairwoman of the Hung Phuoc Commune Women’s Union, shared that in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, and in implementation of the Commune Women’s Union’s 2026 work program and women’s movement, the Standing Committee of the Hung Phuoc Commune Women’s Union has launched the “Write and Post” campaign under the theme “Daily Trust - Daily Expectations.”

Through articles expressing optimism and confidence in the leadership of the Party and the State and in the role of the Women’s Union, the campaign aims to spread positive values of morality, lifestyle, human compassion, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and the building of happy families and civilized communities. At the same time, it also introduces exemplary movements, models, and activities of local women.

Along with the activities of the Commune Women’s Union, these days in Hung Phuoc Commune, from roads and residential areas to the headquarters of agencies and units, and even individual households, the sight of Party flags and national flags flying high has created a solemn and joyful atmosphere in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress, spreading patriotism, national pride, and steadfast confidence in the leadership of the Party.
