Notably, many artists and writers have actively created new works imbued with the pulse of real life and rich in ideological and artistic value, reflecting pride and a strong aspiration to contribute. Through these efforts, they help awaken and promote the intrinsic strength of culture in the nation’s development cause.
Many new works created to celebrate the upcoming congress
As one of the “leading figures” of Dong Nai music scene, composer Tran Viet Binh has recently introduced to the public the song New Spring – New Era. With its lively melody and emotionally rich lyrics, the work portrays the steadfast faith of the people under the glorious banner of the Party, affirming the nation’s aspiration for renewal, creativity, and strong advancement. The image of a peaceful, integrated Vietnam standing shoulder to shoulder with international friends is vividly expressed, spreading an optimistic spirit across all segments of society.
Composer Tran Viet Binh shared: “I composed this song during the days when the entire country was bustling with preparations for a major political event—the 14th Party Congress—and to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. The song has been performed by artists of the Dong Nai Art Theater and introduced on Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, as well as on Facebook and YouTube channels. Through this musical work, I wish to express the responsibility and sentiments of an artist in the face of new opportunities for our homeland.”
Sharing the same emotional current, poet Minh Ha (Literature Division, Dong Nai Provincial Association of Literature and Arts) has presented to the public a collection of emotionally rich poems about the upcoming congress, reflecting attentiveness, contemplation, and unwavering faith in the nation’s new chapter. Through poems such as The River of the Congress, Celebrating the Party Congress, Faith Offered to the Party, Welcoming the Congress, Toward the 14th Congress, poet Minh Ha skillfully weaves images of Dong Nai—its industrial parks, landmark projects, and the Dong Nai River—into the shared aspiration for national development.
In the poem Toward the 14th Congress, poet Minh Ha writes: “On the threshold of the Congress/ The country listens to every pulse of transformation/ Mountains and rivers fall silent, as if gathering all their faith/ From villages to radiant streets/ The whole nation is united as one/Turning toward the great national event/The Congress is not merely a historical milestone/But a convergence of wisdom and aspiration/Where the voices of the people/Are entrusted through future decisions/The entire army and people/Share one steadfast belief/That the Congress will select/Those with the heart to remain devoted to the people/Those with the vision to lead the country/Firmly onward on the path of renewal.”
Tonight (January 17), at Nguyen Van Tri Park in Tran Bien Ward, the Dong Nai Art Theater will stage the cai luong (reformed theater) performance The Tolling Bell, celebrating the 14th Party Congress. The performance contributes to spreading a joyful atmosphere and reinforcing public confidence.
In the field of theater, two cai luong productions—The Tolling Bell (by author Le Trung Dung, directed by People’s Artist Giang Manh Ha) and National Reform and Revival (written and directed by People’s Artist Que Anh)—are being staged in many communes and wards such as Dong Xoai, Binh Long, Tran Bien, and Long Thanh to mark the 14th Party Congress. These works are highly topical, conveying messages relevant to the context in which the country has just implemented the two-tier local government model and reorganized its administrative system for more effective operation. Performances held in public cultural spaces have attracted thousands of spectators, fostering a close bond between art and the lives of the people.
Expectations for new momentum in literature and the arts
Beyond works created to celebrate the congress, Dong Nai artists and writers also place high expectations on the Party’s major guidelines and policies for culture and literature and the arts in the coming term. They anticipate strong and comprehensive cultural development, continued construction of an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, effective preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, proactive promotion of Vietnamese culture to the world, and the development of literature and the arts commensurate with the nation’s cultural history and the achievements of the renewal process.
According to Dong Nai artists and writers, in the context of deep international integration and rapid digital transformation, creating favorable conditions for creative teams to devote themselves wholeheartedly is the “key” to producing valuable works. These works contribute to shaping the value system of Dong Nai people in particular and Vietnamese people in general in the new era. The major orientations set forth by the 14th Party Congress will serve as guiding principles for Vietnamese literature and the arts as a whole, and for Dong Nai in particular, to continue renewing content and creative approaches, vividly reflecting contemporary life while preserving and spreading traditional cultural values.
Pham Van Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Association of Literature and Arts, stated that in looking toward the 14th Party Congress, this faith is present in every carefully weighed line of text and every image chosen with an artist’s heart. From such quiet dedication, Dong Nai’s literature and arts continue to enrich social spiritual life, contributing to nurturing aspirations for a sustainably developed country and a humane, compassionate, creative Vietnamese people advancing toward the future with memory, faith, and the beautiful values preserved through each work.
“The contingent of Dong Nai’s artists and writers expresses profound expectations for the correct, strategically significant decisions of the 14th Party Congress and the 14th-term Central Committee (2026–2031). Through this, the role of literature and the arts in preserving and promoting national cultural identity will continue to be affirmed, encouraging aspirations for development, arousing the spirit of self-reliance and resilience, and accompanying the country as it confidently steps into a new era,” Hoang emphasized.
