Dong Nai youth kick off 2026

On the morning of January 7, at Bien Hung Park (Tran Bien Ward), the Provincial Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai Province, the Vietnam National Union of Students of Dong Nai Province, and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council of Dong Nai jointly organized the 2026 Kick-off Ceremony.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Nguyen Minh Kien emphasized that in 2026, the Provincial Youth Union has designated the year’s theme as “Strongly Innovating the Modes of Youth Union Operations.” At the same time, it has set 18 key targets and five additional targets aligned with the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and the orientations of the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for 2026. This endeavor reflects not only a firm commitment and determination, but also the spirit of innovation, creativity, dedication, responsibility, and a proactive, learning-oriented mindset of Dong Nai’s young generation in 2026.

Nguyen Minh Kien called on Youth Union officials, members, young people, pupils, and students across the province to join the Youth Union, Youth Federation, and Young Pioneer organizations in concretizing and successfully achieving the key targets and priority tasks identified by the Provincial Youth Union for 2026. He also urged them to foster the mindset, momentum, and energy needed to enter a breakthrough phase in work and study, and to innovate operational methods so that the Youth Union, Youth Federation, and Young Pioneer organizations truly become close companions to children and young people in their comprehensive development, contributing actively to the socio-economic development of both the province and the nation.

For each Youth Union member and young person, it is essential to internalize the guidance of General Secretary To Lam at the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2024–2029 term. Accordingly, young people must clearly demonstrate their role in social life, be fully aware of their responsibilities and missions, and serve as a pioneering force in study and self-improvement, constantly striving to master science and technology. They should be steadfast and determined, carry through worthwhile tasks to completion, prioritize action over words, remain dynamic and decisive, seize and make use of opportunities, and absolutely avoid arrogance and complacency. On that basis, they should work, study and innovate together, master science and technology, create value, and make positive contributions, especially to the development of their homeland and the country.

Nguyen Minh Kien also expressed his hope that the Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai Province, the Vietnam National Union of Students of Dong Nai Province, and the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization of Dong Nai Province would continue to receive the attention and support of provincial leaders, enabling them to achieve even more outstanding results to report to the Party committees, authorities and the people in 2026.

At the kick-off ceremony, delegates carried out the official launch ritual for 2026, and representatives of emulation clusters across the province signed commitments to implement youth projects and initiatives throughout the year.
