In 2025, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Farmers' Association oversaw and guided farmers’ associations at all levels in carrying out their respective political tasks, with most planned objectives achieved. More than 5,400 new members joined during the year, bringing total membership across the province to nearly 200,000. At the grassroots level, associations also established 32 new professional farmers’ chapters and 88 professional farmers’ groups, raising the totals to 207 professional farmers’ chapters and more than 570 professional farmers’ groups across the province.
Farmers’ associations at all levels implemented three national target programs: the socio-economic development program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas; the sustainable poverty reduction program; and the new rural development program. In parallel, they coordinated training and capacity-building activities to enhance knowledge and skills for more than 3,000 outstanding farmers, exemplary producers, and business-oriented farmers. Many chapters and groups took the initiative to partner with enterprises and scientists to provide guidance and support to farmers in developing geographical indications, product labeling, and agricultural branding.

In 2026, the provincial Farmers’ Association will concentrate on rolling out 14 key priorities. These include communicating the resolutions adopted at the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term and the inaugural Provincial Congress of the Dong Nai Farmers’ Association, as well as mobilizing officials and farmer members to participate in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. The association will also step up efforts to encourage farmers to adopt collective economic models and high-performing production and business initiatives aligned with social welfare objectives. Alongside this, it will promote the restructuring of crops and livestock, accelerate digital transformation in agricultural production, and strengthen value chain integration across the sector.

At the same time, the Vice Chair highlighted the need to improve the quality of organizational development and to invest consistently in training and capacity-building for officials at all levels to meet the demands of their roles in the current context.
