The meetings focuses on preparing goods for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, as well as ensuring the availability of essential goods related to production and business activities to support supply in the event of natural disasters or disease outbreaks.

Relevant agencies and enterprises will review and assess stockpiles of goods for the 2026 Lunar New Year at production and business facilities; estimate purchasing power and price trends for key essential items during the period before and during Tet, in comparison with the 2025 Lunar New Year. Agencies and local authorities will also review the current supply and distribution network, share plans to open new distribution points for Tet, and set business hours for the days leading up to and following the holiday. They will also discuss price-posting requirements and contingency plans to ensure goods can be delivered to retail points in case of sharp price fluctuations or supply shortages.
