Approval of appraisal result for the environmental impact assessment report of the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Project

On January 26, according to the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued a decision approving the appraisal result of the environmental impact assessment report for the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Business and Construction Investment Project, Dong Nai province.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment approved the appraisal results of the environmental impact assessment report for the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Business and Construction Investment Project, implemented by Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Joint Stock Company in Binh An commune and Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.

Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Joint Stock Company is responsible for complying with the provisions set out in Article 37 of the Law on Environmental Protection and Article 27 of Government Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP dated January 10, 2022, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection, as amended and supplemented under Clause 9, Article 1 of Government Decree No. 05/2025/ND-CP dated January 6, 2025.

Previously, in July 2023, the Government issued a decision approving the investment policy for the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Business and Construction Investment Project. The project covers a land area of more than 244 hectares, with a total investment capital of VND 1.8 trillion, including VND 270 billion in investor equity. The project has an operating term of 50 years, commencing from July 14, 2023.

Subsequently, at the 26th session of the 10th Provincial People’s Council (February 2025), the Council adopted a resolution approving the task of preparing the 1/2000-scale zoning plan for the construction of Long Duc 3 Industrial Park. Accordingly, the zoning plan covers an area of more than 244 hectares.

Long Duc 3 Industrial Park is a multi-sector industrial park oriented toward an eco-industrial park model, focusing on attracting industries that apply modern and environmentally friendly technologies, with priority given to high-tech industries, supporting industries, and logistics activities.
