In a joyful and upbeat atmosphere welcoming the 14th National Party Congress, Dong Nai province has been organising a wide range of vibrant cultural and artistic activities, as well as mobile film screenings.
Across major roads, residential areas, and village and neighbourhood cultural houses, the bright red colours of flags, banners, billboards, and posters have added to the festive atmosphere, helping spread public confidence, inspire solidarity, and strengthen the spirit of emulation among all social strata in the lead-up to the congress.
Vibrant cultural and artistic programmes

People’s Artist Que Anh, Director of Dong Nai Arts Theater, said that in addition to presenting online music and dance programmes, excerpts and cai luong plays, the unit has increased the number of performances delivered to grassroots communities. Notably, cai luong (reformed opera) productions namely Hoi Chuong and Cai Quoc Chan Hung have been brought to wards and communes, including Dong Xoai, Binh Long, and Long Thanh, to serve local residents. These productions are highly topical, helping convey educational messages, promote legal awareness, and spread profound humanistic values.
Similarly, the Dong Nai provincial Culture and Cinema Center has been actively organising grassroots art performance nights featuring various music and dance items praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and expressing love for the homeland, the nation, and the people of Dong Nai. Familiar songs such as Singing to the Party and The Party Flag, along with dance performances and short comedy sketches, have been performed with strong emotion by amateur artists. The center is also holding the provincial contest for mass art clubs and the 2026 Dong Nai contest for modern dance groups.
The lively and enthusiastic atmosphere has also been spreading at the grassroots level. At cultural houses and commune- and ward-level community learning and cultural centres, mass art gatherings have become even more special when linked to the theme of celebrating the 14th National Party Congress and welcoming the Lunar New Year 2026. Many contests and exchange programmes in arts and sports, don ca tai tu performances, and culinary festivals have been organised on a considerable scale by localities such as Tan Hung, Long Thanh, Cam My, Trang Bom, Nhon Trach and Binh Phuoc, drawing large numbers of local residents.
Amateur singer Le Ngoc Ni, a member of the don ca tai tu (Southern folk music) club in Tan Phu commune, shared: ‘Not only do we get to watch the artistic performances, but we also have the opportunity to take part in we also get to participate directly in musical exchanges and activities featuring don ca tai tu and cai luong performances. Through each activity, local people have become more cheerful and confident, further strengthening unity with local authorities in effectively carrying out emulation movements.
Notably, several units and localities such as Dong Nai Library, Phuoc Long ward, and Tran Bien ward have also organised photo exhibitions and displays of books and materials on Party history, as well as outstanding achievements of localities and Dong Nai province through various Party congress terms. These activities not only serve propaganda purposes but also help foster pride among all social groups, particularly young people.
The 14th National Party Congress is a major political event and a profound political activity across the Party, the people and the armed forces. Therefore, the culture, sports, and tourism sector has assigned specific tasks to each unit and locality to strengthen communication efforts and diversify cultural, artistic, and sports activities, thereby creating an enthusiastic spirit of emulation among the public.
Strengthening visual propaganda and mobile film screenings
Alongside artistic activities, visual propaganda has been implemented in a coordinated manner by units and localities. On main roads, in administrative centers, industrial parks, and village and neighbourhood cultural houses, flags, slogans, and billboard clusters celebrating the congress have been arranged solemnly and harmoniously. Many localities have focused on renewing propaganda formats, combining technology applications and LED screens to create highlights during the congress period.
Mobile film screening activities have continued to prove effective. Nguyen Tien Dung, Head of the Cinema Operations Division at the Dong Nai provincial Centre for Culture and Cinema, said that seven mobile screening teams have been actively coordinating with wards and communes namely Loc Thanh, Loc Tan, Phu Trung, Long Ha, Thanh Son, Binh Phuoc and Bao Vinh to screen the film Mua Do for residents in remote and far-off areas, ethnic minority communities and border regions. These screenings have become “political activities” attracting thousands of people. Before, during and after each screening, the teams also used loudspeaker vehicles to carry out communication activities in celebration of the upcoming anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3) and the 2026 Lunar New Year.
Along with film screenings, the teams have also stepped up communication through images and video clips on social media platforms and fanpages of relevant units, helping spread the enthusiastic atmosphere and encouraging achievements in celebration of the major event, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and civilised homeland and nation, he added.
With a wide range of communication activities and vivid visual propaganda, officials, Party members, and people from all walks of life in Dong Nai are turning their attention towards the 14th National Party Congress with strong confidence in its success. Beyond boosting morale, these activities also help connect the Party's will with the people's aspirations and development ambitions, enabling Dong Nai, together with the country, to move steadily into a new era – the era of national rise.
