14 more social housing projects to commence construction in the first quarter of 2026

On January 28, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Construction, Do Thanh Phuong, announced that 14 social housing projects across the province are scheduled to commence construction in the first quarter of 2026.

The projects include: a workers’ housing complex (phase 2) in Nhon Trach Commune, invested by IDICO Urban And Industrial Zone Development Company Limited; a social housing apartment building under the Bau Xeo Residential Area project in Trang Bom Commune, invested by Dong Nai Rubber Real Estate One Member Liability Company Limited; a social housing apartment project within a planned residential area in Nhon Trach Commune, invested by Phu Hoi City Company Limited; a social housing project in Loc An Residential Area, funded by Industrial Urban Development Joint - Stock Company No. 2; and a social housing project in Phuoc An Commune, invested by Phuoc Truong Hung Housing Development Company Limited.

Other projects include: a social housing project in Long Hung Ward invested by Dong Nai General Agricultural Service Cooperative Union (Donacoop); a social housing project in Phuoc Tan Ward invested by Dong Thuan Investment Joint Stock Company; the ChC1 and ChC2 social housing complex in Phuoc Tan Ward invested by Him Lam Corporation; a social housing project in the resettlement area of Long Binh Ward invested by Chuong Duong Corporation; and a social housing project on a 3.5-hectare site in Trang Bom Commune invested by Khang Nam Real Estate & Construction Environment Group Joint Stock Company.

In addition, the list includes a social housing project in Tan Trieu Ward invested by Him Lam Corporation; the An Phuoc social housing project in An Phuoc Commune invested by SIB Viet Nam Trading And Service Company Limited; a social housing project under the Thai Cong – Thuan Loi Residential Area in Thuan Loi Commune invested by Thuan Loi Thai Cong Real Estate Company Limited; and a workers’ dormitory project of Vietnam Precision Industrial Joint Stock Company (VPIC) in Ho Nai Ward invested by VPIC.

The simultaneous commencement of social housing projects across multiple localities at the beginning of 2026 is expected to help address local housing demand, promote sustainable economic growth, and lay the groundwork for Dong Nai to achieve its target of more than 8,000 social housing units in 2026, moving toward a total of 65,000 units during the 2026–2030 period.

Previously, on January 15, 2026, three social housing projects in Phuoc An Commune and Long Hung Ward had already started construction.
