According to Tran Thuy Tien, Vice Chair of the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations, construction of the 10 houses began on November 1, 2025. The project was funded with more than 836 million VND by the NGO-Resource Centre through the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations.

During the construction process, local authorities and hamlet-level mass organizations mobilized additional contributions, with household heads and their relatives also contributing part of the cost. As a result, the value of each house upon handover to the families was consistently higher than the initial support level.

In the near future, the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations will continue to connect with and mobilize resources from foreign non-governmental organizations to support residents in border communes and ethnic minority areas that are still facing hardship.
