Voters in Xuan Phu Commune hope for additional policies to support youth entrepreneurship

On the morning of December 15, as part of the program to meet with voters following 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Constituency No. 4 of the Dong Nai Provincial National Assembly delegation—including Vu Hai Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly; Bui Xuan Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Full-time Deputy Head of the Dong Nai National Assembly Delegation; and Tho Ut, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs—met with voters in Xuan Phu Commune.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs Tho Ut reported to voters on the outcomes of the 10th Session of the National Assembly.

Accordingly, after 40 consecutive days of working in an urgent, serious, highly responsible, scientific and innovative spirit, the 10th Session concluded successfully, completing the entire agenda as planned. The National Assembly reviewed and passed 51 laws and 8 resolutions with normative legal effect; conducted a mid-term review of the 2021–2026 term of state agencies; considered and decided on personnel matters within its authority; and carried out thematic oversight on “the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect.”

In addition, the National Assembly discussed and provided feedback on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam; reviewed and decided on socio-economic issues, the state budget, investment policy for national target programs and major national projects, and adjustments to the National Master Plan.

The National Assembly also reviewed reports on judicial work, anti-corruption efforts, crime prevention and control, and violations of the law; examined the results of oversight regarding the settlement of voters’ petitions, citizen reception, handling of complaints and denunciations; along with several other important matters.

At the conference, voters raised a range of issues across different sectors. Notably, they urged authorities at all levels to continue addressing the persistent problem of “bumper harvests followed by price drops, or high prices accompanied by poor harvests,” in order to ensure stable market outlets for agricultural products. Voters also expressed a strong desire for additional solutions and policies to support youth in starting businesses and entrepreneurship, particularly measures facilitating access to capital and markets. They further called for sustained and effective policies to support ethnic minority communities.

In addition, voters proposed continued attention and support for accelerating digital transformation, especially in handling administrative procedures and public services for citizens, as well as promoting cashless payments. Several opinions related to land management were also raised.

At the meeting, the provincial National Assembly deputies and leaders of relevant departments, sectors, and local authorities exchanged views and clarified issues of concern to voters.
