On December 17, Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, together with representatives of departments and agencies, received and held a working session with Viet Sin Energy Group JSC, led by Phan Phong Phu, Chairman of its Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. The visiting delegation came to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment in clean energy projects in the province.

Viet Sin Energy Group is a consortium between PQP Engineering Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) and Capital Ventures Singapore Group, operating in fields such as rooftop solar power, wind power, LPG energy, and others. The group’s orientation is to become one of Vietnam’s leading renewable energy corporations. Its targets for the 2025–2035 period include 2,000 MW of rooftop solar power, 1,000 MW of battery energy storage systems (BESS), and more than 1,000 MW of offshore wind power. The group is also partnering with a Chinese corporation to move toward the production of batteries and the supply of affordable products in the near future.

At the working session, the two sides discussed Dong Nai’s advantages in socio-economic development, including its potential for developing green industry and using green fuels and energy in production. They also exchanged views on the solutions Dong Nai is implementing to develop its economy and industry in line with the province’s scale and stature, especially after the Long Thanh International Airport project comes into operation.

In discussions with the business delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut stated that Dong Nai has many industrial parks and a large demand for energy. Currently, enterprises seeking access to global markets need green certifications for development, including the requirement to use clean energy and green electricity in production. Dong Nai has also issued policies and resolutions promoting green economic development. The province always welcomes investors to come and explore opportunities for cooperation and project development. Investors with specific needs are encouraged to proactively contact relevant departments and agencies to obtain information and cooperation opportunities.
