Tan Trieu ward tops Dong Nai provincial traditional martial arts club championship

(ĐN) - Tan Trieu ward’s martial arts club dominated the 2025 Dong Nai Provincial Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship, winning 15 gold medals in forms events to claim first place overall.

The 2025 Dong Nai Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship concluded late on November 30 after four days of vibrant competition at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium (Facility 2, Binh Phuoc Ward).

Tan Trieu and Binh Phuoc ward clubs delivered dominant performances, finishing first and second overall, respectively. Tan Trieu claimed a total of 15 gold, six silver, and two bronze medals. Notably, all 15 gold medals were won in the forms event, eight in the youth category, and seven in the championship category.

Compared to the leading club, Binh Phuoc Ward earned medals in both forms and sparring events across two age groups, finishing with 14 gold, five silver, and four bronze medals. Of these, 10 golds came from sparring categories. An Phuoc Commune placed third with four gold, four silver, and four bronze medals.

Also earning 4 gold medals, but with fewer silver and bronze, the two clubs, Tri An Commune (4 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze) and Phan Thanh Cong (4 gold, 2 silver, 0 bronze), ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.

The Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship, organized by the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, took place from November 27 to 30, bringing together more than 350 athletes from 29 clubs representing communes and wards across the province. Athletes competed in 67 events in forms and sparring, divided into two categories: youth and championship.
