The year 2025 marks an important turning point for Tan Tien Commune with the merger and consolidation of its administrative apparatus in line with the guidelines of the Party and the State. This is not merely a change in administrative boundaries, but also an opportunity for the locality to develop in a more comprehensive, modern, and effective manner.

Immediately after the merger, the Commune Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee quickly stabilized the organizational structure and clearly assigned responsibilities. Solidarity and unity across the entire political system helped Tan Tien overcome the transitional period and create momentum for a new development journey.
Many encouraging results
Tan Tien Commune was established through the merger of the communes of Tan Thanh and Tan Tien (Bu Dop District) and Loc An (Loc Ninh District) of former Binh Phuoc Province.
In the first 11 months of 2025, the economy of the newly established Tan Tien Commune continued to remain stable across many sectors. Budget revenue reached over 82% of the assigned estimate. Industry, trade, and services continued to grow; the value of industrial and handicraft production reached 256 billion VND, up more than 10%; trade and services reached 268 billion VND, up nearly 10% compared to the same period in 2024.
At the same time, basic construction, land management, environmental management, and natural disaster prevention were implemented in a synchronized manner, contributing to maintaining socio-economic stability.
Notably, agricultural production recorded positive results with more than 8.7 thousand hectares under cultivation. People actively changed their mindset, applied technical advances, and shifted crops in line with soil and climate conditions. Livestock production was kept safe, with no disease outbreaks.
Tan Tien is moving toward clean agriculture models, applying high technology, developing organic-oriented production, and forming specialized farming zones; promoting traceability, building brands for key agricultural products; developing value chains and linkages among agriculture, industry, and services in association with new rural development.
One of the units pursuing sustainable production is the PN Binh Phuoc Cordyceps Mushroom Cooperative. Nguyen Thi Tien, Director of the cooperative, shared: “We consider quality the key factor. Products are manufactured under strict processes, with close control from strain collection to processing. In the coming time, the cooperative will step up automation and digitalization of processes, research and improve strains, diversify products, apply freeze-drying technology, and move toward expanding scale, participating in OCOP (One Commune One Product Program), and developing our brand in potential markets.”
Promoting digital transformation and emulation movements
Recently, the Tan Tien Commune Public Administration Service Center has implemented measures to increase the rate of digitized records, online public services, and electronic payments. Currently, the unit handles 397 administrative procedures, of which 128 are fully processed online. The rate of dossiers processed online reached 96.79%, while the rate of on-time and early resolution reached 99.44%.
Expressing satisfaction when carrying out administrative procedures, Nguyen Quang Phuong (a resident of Tan Thuan Hamlet) commented: “The One-Stop-Shop Division of Tan Tien Commune works responsibly and provides clear guidance. Procedures are resolved quickly, mostly completed within the day, creating satisfaction for local people.”
Identifying culture as the foundation for sustainable development, Tan Tien Commune has vigorously implemented the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life.” Cultural titles have been reviewed according to new criteria in a more serious and substantive manner. To date, 97.7% of households have been recognized as cultural families, and 100% of hamlets have maintained cultural status for many consecutive years. Models such as Learning Families, Learning Lineages, and Learning Communities have been effectively maintained, contributing to raising educational standards and preserving the tradition of studiousness.
In parallel, the commune has continued to invest in infrastructure, including roads, lighting systems, schools, cultural houses, and health stations, creating a more spacious and orderly appearance for the locality.
Le Thi Nghia (a resident of Tan Hoa Hamlet) said that in recent times, local people have actively participated in emulation movements. Specifically, the Commune Veterans Association installed security cameras; the Women’s Union and Farmers’ Association took care of green roads; the Youth Union collected garbage and cleaned the environment, contributing to building a bright, green, clean, and beautiful new-style countryside.
For the 2025–2030 period, Tan Tien Commune has identified priorities, including building a strong Party and political system; maintaining stable and sustainable economic growth; and improving the quality and competitiveness of agricultural products. The locality also focuses on effectively mobilizing investment resources, promoting digital transformation and administrative reform, and ensuring harmonious development between the economy and culture–society, environmental protection, and social security.
At the same time, the commune will enhance the quality of cultural titles, and build and develop Tan Tien residents who are “knowledgeable – responsible – compassionate,” linking cultural movements with digital transformation and the development of model new-style rural areas; and replicating exemplary models such as Model Cultural Hamlets, Learning and Happy Families, and Residential Areas Free from Social Evils.
Leveraging local advantages, Tan Tien Commune has set a target that by 2030, clean agricultural production will account for over 12% of agricultural land area, of which organic production will exceed 3%. The commune aims to develop five products certified under the OCOP program and establish two planting-area codes for fruit trees. To achieve these goals, the commune has outlined specific solutions and roadmaps for each stage, developing agriculture in a manner that harmoniously combines economic growth with environmental protection and rural ecosystem preservation.
The journey of building Tan Tien after the merger is a testament to the spirit of solidarity, effort, and aspiration for advancement of both the local authorities and the people. With the results achieved, Tan Tien is gradually affirming its position as a commune with stable development, civility, and strong community bonds.
