On December 20, a working delegation of the Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Ton Ngoc Hanh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, paid visits and extended Christmas 2025 greetings to parishes and Catholic dignitaries across the province.

Also joining the working delegation were comrades: Ha Anh Dung, member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Giang Thi Phuong Hanh, member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc ward; Tran Thanh Hoa, Director of the provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs; Nguyen Thi Loan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, along with leaders of relevant provincial departments and agencies.

Under the program, the delegation visited Phuoc Long Deanery (Phuoc Long ward) and Dong Xoai Deanery (Binh Phuoc ward), and met with several individuals, including Priest Hoang Minh Tam, Dean of the Phuoc Long Deanery (Phuoc Long ward); Priest Ngo Anh Tan, Dean of the Dong Xoai Deanery (Binh Phuoc ward); Priest Nguyen Van Yen, Parish Priest of Son Giang Parish (Phuoc Long ward); and Priest Nguyen Van Thanh, Parish Priest of Thuan Loi Parish (Thuan Loi commune).

At each visiting place, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, extended Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 greetings to Catholic dignitaries, officials and followers in the localities.

According to Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, in 2025, thanks to the spirit of solidarity, strong efforts and high determination among all levels, sectors, localities and the people, Dong Nai province recorded many positive results across various fields. The economy posted stable growth, cultural and social development progressed in a balanced manner, national defense and security and social order and safety were maintained, freedom of belief and religion was respected and ensured, and the great national unity bloc was strengthened and expanded. These achievements included the positive, responsible and meaningful contributions of Catholic dignitaries, officials and followers.

According to Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, in the coming period, Dong Nai province will continue to accelerate the implementation of key projects in transportation, industry, high-tech agriculture and schools at all levels. These efforts aim to create jobs for the local workforce and improve the quality of human resources.
