In his opening speech, Deputy Director General Le Anh Tuan stated that the training conference serves as a timely channel for conveying directives and orientations to localities as they work toward advancing digital transformation and building digital government. He emphasized that holding the conference in person provides an opportunity for the National Digital Transformation Authority, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and local authorities to strengthen their exchanges, share lessons learned, and address the difficulties encountered during the implementation process.

Speaking at the event, Pham Van Trinh emphasized that the conference holds significant and practical importance. He described it not only as a technical training session but also as a “forum for policy and action". The gathering, he said, provides a venue for participants to engage in candid dialogue with experts and policymakers from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Digital Transformation Authority.

“Digital transformation is a journey without a finish line, and no one can undertake it alone,” Trinh noted. “I hope this conference will serve as a bridge, strengthening the connections among science and technology departments across the southern region, enabling greater sharing of experiences and successful models. The innovative practices of Ho Chi Minh City, the experiences of Can Tho, and the lessons learned in Dong Nai are all valuable assets that allow us to progress together”.
