The completion of the project plays an important role in ensuring a continuous, high-quality electricity supply for the operation of Long Thanh Airport. It also helps reduce the 22kV power supply radius, minimise power losses, stabilise voltage quality, and enhance the reliability of electricity supply for surrounding areas.

According to Truong Dinh Quoc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of PC Dong Nai, the project is large in scale, requires advanced technical standards, strict safety measures, and was implemented under a tight construction schedule, with coordination among many units both within and outside the power sector. The commissioning of the 110kV Long Thanh Airport substation not only adds a major power facility to Dong Nai Province but also carries special significance. The project ensures a stable, continuous, and high-quality power supply for critical airport facilities, including air traffic management systems, runway and taxiway lighting, passenger terminals, security screening systems, technical centres, and auxiliary infrastructure.
For employees of the company, this is a great source of pride, as they have contributed directly to a national key project that meets the stringent technical requirements of the country’s largest international airport.

Vu Ngoc Long emphasised that Long Thanh Airport is a national key project and embodies the development aspirations of Dong Nai Province and the southern key economic region. The 110kV substation is not only a supporting technical facility but also a crucial project with a significant impact on the airport's construction progress and operational quality.
The PC Dong Nai’s successful completion of both investment phases and the connection to the airport’s internal power grid just ahead of the first technical flight, scheduled for December 19, is of great importance.

The Director of the Department of Industry and Trade noted that the external power supply infrastructure serving the airport will also act as a "lifeline" driving the development of an integrated chain of urban, industrial, and logistics zones in the surrounding area in the future. He called on PC Dong Nai to ensure the facility's safe, stable, and continuous operation. The Department will continue to coordinate with the power sector to review and forecast electricity demand, prepare power grid infrastructure for future expansion phases of the airport and neighbouring areas, and ensure that power infrastructure keeps pace with urban, industrial, and logistics planning.
