Lee Wei Chun appointed as President of Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai

On the evening of December 19, the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai held a ceremony to hand over leadership and inaugurate the new President and Head of the Supervisory Board of the association.

The event was attended by representatives from various departments and sectors of Dong Nai Province, as well as leaders of the Taiwan Business Association in Vietnam and the Taiwan Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, and more than 300 members of the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai, representing Taiwanese businesses operating in the province.

At the handover and inauguration ceremony, Lee Wei Chun, Vice President of the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai for the 14th term, officially received the appointment and seal to assume the role of President of the Taiwan Business Association for the 15th term, covering the period from 2026 to 2028. She also introduced the Executive Committee for the 15th term (2026–2028).

In her inaugural speech, the newly appointed President of the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai, Lee Wei Chun, stated: "Over nearly 30 years of establishment and development, the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai has built a solid foundation in Vietnam, providing a strong starting point for the next generation to move forward."

Lee Wei Chun shared: "Being entrusted with the role of President is not only an honor for me but also a clear and practical responsibility, reminding me that the purpose of the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai remains unchanged: to serve its members and represent the voice of the Taiwanese business community. The Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai is not merely an exchange organization as it is a community where people can rely on each other, fostering connections and continuing to uphold traditional values."

On this occasion, the Taiwan Business Association in Dong Nai welcomed 8 new members, bringing the total to 350. Taiwan has currently invested in 287 projects in Dong Nai, with a total registered capital of nearly 6.2 billion USD, making it one of the top three countries or territories with the highest investment in the province.
