The festival provided a healthy platform for clubs to showcase the artistic and cultural beauty of flute kites, unique to each province and city. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bu Dang commune, stated that the festival was held to coincide with the 51st anniversary of Bu Dang’s Liberation Day (December 14, 1974 – 2025). The event is a culturally significant activity with deep political and social meaning, honoring the generations who courageously sacrificed for the homeland’s independence and freedom, while also affirming Bu Dang’s pride, confidence, and aspirations for progress in its new development phase.
Bu Dang is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, where history, culture, and nature come together in harmony. In particular, Bu Mon bears deep historical significance, especially during the resistance war against the United States, and is regarded as a “red address” associated with the first Communist Party cell, known as the Vinh Thien Cell. The area also witnessed fierce battles and the heroic sacrifices of many martyrs. This sacred legacy serves as a source of pride and a spiritual foundation for today’s generation to continue building Bu Dang into an increasingly prosperous and modern homeland, worthy of its glorious revolutionary tradition.

Today, Bu Mon field is likened to the “European Beauty in the heart of Dong Nai Province,” becoming a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. More than just a scenic landscape, Bu Mon is also a land of childhood memories, where traditional agricultural activities such as kite flying and simple yet meaningful folk games take place. From this cultural setting, the Flute Kite Festival is organized to revive, preserve, and spread these treasured spiritual values, contributing to the development of a vibrant and wholesome community life.
