Enhancing enterprises’ capacity for technology adoption and governance

On December 11, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology organized the 2025 Technology and Technology Governance Training Conference.

The conference was attended by Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, along with experts from the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Commercialization Development (SATITECH), as well as representatives from institutes, universities, high-tech enterprises, and agencies and businesses across the province.

At the conference, experts shared insights on: thinking and trends in technology governance within enterprises; technology trends and innovation in the era of digital transformation; an overview of technology governance in enterprises; technology planning and strategy for enterprises; enhancing capacity for technology application and technology governance in enterprises; application of advanced technologies in production and management; management and organization of research and development activities in enterprises; and the introduction of several practical models.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director Nguyen Minh Quang affirmed that enterprises not only need to innovate in technology, but also in management thinking. Effective technology governance is a crucial factor that enables businesses to improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance competitiveness, and proactively integrate into the global value chain.

The conference was held to support enterprises in Dong Nai Province in accessing the latest information on technology and governance. It focused on two key topics: management thinking and trends in technology governance within enterprises, as well as enhancing capacity for technology application and governance.

The Department of Science and Technology reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to support enterprises by providing information, facilitating procedures, and implementing programs to promote technological innovation and enhance management effectiveness in the coming period.
