Dong Nai youth organize Winter Volunteer program in Cao Bang Province

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai Province, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Vietnam Youth Federation of Cao Bang Province, as well as benefactors, the 2025 Winter Volunteer Program has been completed in Cao Bang Province.

Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union Phan The Cong said that under this year’s Winter Volunteer Program, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai Province mobilized partner organizations and benefactors to donate more than 2,400 gift packages, including warm clothing, boots, school bags, notebooks, and school supplies; more than 300 electric lamps; over 500 cartons of instant noodles; and 40 cartons of milk to students and residents in the locality, with a total value exceeding 530 million VND.

In addition to the Winter Volunteer Program in Cao Bang Province, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai Province will continue to mobilize resources to implement programs and activities supporting orphaned students and those facing challenging circumstances in remote, mountainous, ethnic minority, and religious communities within the province.

They will also organize communication campaigns, medical check-ups, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for residents and children; provide basic first-aid training for teachers; and offer nutritional counseling for parents of preschool and primary school students.

The Winter Volunteer Program is an annual initiative jointly maintained by the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai Province to promote the pioneering spirit, volunteerism, and the values of solidarity and compassion among youth cadres, union members, association members, young people, organizations, individuals, and the broader community. The program aims to support disadvantaged residents and children in remote and mountainous areas, while also creating an environment for young people in the province to train, contribute, and grow.
