Dong Nai Trade Union plans to provide more than 74,000 Tet gift packages for Union members and workers

On the afternoon of December 2, the Dong Nai Confederation of Labor announced that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, the provincial Trade Union plans to distribute more than 74,000 gift packages to union members and workers facing difficult circumstances. Each package will include 1 million VND in cash.

This is one of the key activities aimed at ensuring all union members and workers can enjoy a warm and joyful Lunar New Year.

According to the plan, the gift packages will be allocated to grassroots trade unions for direct distribution to workers, with priority given to those who have lost their jobs, experienced reduced working hours, or are facing challenging circumstances, serious illnesses, or workplace accidents. In addition to the gift-giving program, the Dong Nai Trade Union will organize the “Reunion Tet” event and pay visits to workers at enterprises and boarding houses.

Furthermore, the “Reunion Tet Bus Trip – Spring 2026” program will provide 2,200 bus tickets to help union members return to their hometowns for the holiday. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will also allocate an additional 450 train tickets and 120 airline tickets to support Dong Nai workers traveling home for family reunions. In addition, the “Trade Union Tet Market – Spring 2026,” organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, will continue to offer 9,300 discount shopping vouchers to union members.
