On the afternoon of December 30, a working delegation from Dong Nai province, led by Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, paid a visit to Gia Lai province to present financial assistance for post-storm recovery efforts. The delegation also included Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of relevant agencies and units.
Receiving the delegation were Thai Dai Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee; Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Gia Lai provincial National Assembly Delegation; and Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, Vu Hong Van expressed sympathy for the heavy losses suffered by Gia Lai province during recent natural disasters. He also conveyed regards to affected households and businesses impacted by the recent storms and floods.
Reflecting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support of the Vietnamese people, the Party organisation, authorities, and people of Dong Nai province presented gifts with the hope of providing Gia Lai with additional resources to overcome disaster consequences, promote socio-economic development, and stabilise the lives of local residents at an early stage.
On this occasion, Vu Hong Van presented 5 billion VND contributed by the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province to support Gia Lai province in post-disaster recovery efforts. In addition, Dong Nai province also provided 1.5 billion VND to assist the disaster-hit families and officers of the police force and the provincial Military Command of Gia Lai.

On behalf of the Party organisation, authorities, armed forces and people of Gia Lai province, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Thai Dai Ngoc expressed his sincere gratitude to the Party organisation, authorities and people of Dong Nai province for their support and solidarity during a time of significant hardship caused by natural disasters.
He noted that the recent storms and floods had severely affected the locality. In the aftermath of the disaster, the province has been mobilising all available resources and concentrating efforts on recovery, accelerating socio-economic development, and stabilising residents' lives. These efforts have seen the active participation of the military and police forces, particularly in the implementation of the Quang Trung Campaign.
Gia Lai province is determined to complete the reconstruction of nearly 700 houses that were completely destroyed by storms and floods, in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister, so that affected families can move into new homes before the traditional Lunar New Year.
On this occasion, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee extended his best wishes to the Party organisation, authorities, and people of Dong Nai province for continued strong development in 2026 and the years to come.
