According to the Provincial Labor Federation, the spirit of "mutual support and solidarity" has always been a core value of the working class and the trade union organization. The Dong Nai Trade Union calls on all union members, workers, and trade unions at all levels to join hands in supporting compatriots who have suffered losses and damages caused by natural disasters. The program offers an opportunity to spread the solidarity and compassion of Dong Nai’s workers, helping to encourage flood-affected communities to overcome hardship and rebuild their lives.
Earlier, many grassroots trade unions at local enterprises mobilized their members to contribute within their means, either in cash or with essential goods such as rice, instant noodles, drinking water, warm blankets, and medicine. All donations were consolidated by the Labor Federation and directly delivered to the most severely affected localities.
