Dong Nai provincial delegation attends the preparatory session of 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress

On the afternoon of December 26,  a preparatory session for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress took place at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. The session was attended by Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, who also serves as First Vice Chairwoman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council and Head of the Organising Committee for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The preparatory session was attended by former Party Central Committee Secretary and former Vice State President Truong My Hoa, former First Vice Chairwoman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council. Also present were Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council, and Member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Dinh Khang, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Vice Chair of the Council. In addition, members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central agencies and ministries, and delegates from provinces, cities, and sectors across the country took part in the event.

The Dong Nai delegation attended the preparatory session with 35 delegates, led by Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Dong Nai.

Under the theme “Emulation for innovation, acceleration, and breakthrough to usher the nation into an era of strength, civilisation, and prosperity”, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress takes place over two days, December 26–27, 2025, at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. The Congress is set to draw  a total of 2,223 delegates, including 198 guests and 2,025 official delegates, organized into 105 delegations. Among the 2,025 official delegates are individuals recognized as Heroes, representatives of Heroic collectives, National Emulation Soldiers, and other exemplary figures honored or recognized since the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The 11th National Emulation Congress reviewed emulation movements and commendation work from 2021 to 2025. It honored outstanding individuals and collectives for their achievements and set the direction for further innovation in emulation and commendation over the next five years. The congress aims to inspire momentum and drive the successful implementation of socio-economic development while maintaining national defense and security from 2026 to 2030, in line with the 14th National Party Congress. The initiative marks the nation’s entry into a new era of strength, prosperity, and sustainable growth.

As part of the congress, Party and State leaders, along with delegates, paid tribute at President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and offered incense at the Martyrs’ Memorial. A photo exhibition on Ho Chi Minh and national emulation movements was held. Another exhibition showcased the country’s socio-economic achievements over 40 years of renovation. The congress also featured an exchange program highlighting exemplary figures and recognized Labor Heroes, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, and National Emulation Soldiers.

The organizing committee held a full rehearsal for the 11th National Emulation Congress following the preparatory session. The congress is set to officially open on the morning of December 27.
