Dong Nai Province honors 181 role models of good people, good deeds

(ĐN) - On December 29, the Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the implementation of Program 7 and to commend and reward “Role Models of Good People, Good Deeds and Advanced Exemplars” of Dong Nai Province in 2025.

Attending the conference were Nguyen Cong Dan, Deputy Director of the Department of Local Affairs III under the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province; Nguyen Thi Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thi Hong Trang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission; Le Thi Thai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission; Senior Colonel Bui Dang Ninh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province and Chairwoman of the Provincial Women’s Union, along with leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and sectors.

During the program, 181 provincial-level advanced exemplars in the implementation of Program 7 “Building Role Models of Good Deeds and Advanced Exemplars,” in Dong Nai Province in 2025 were honored and rewarded.

Among them, 82 collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People’s Committee, while 99 collectives and individuals received commendations from the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization.

On behalf of the Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee, Huynh Thi Hang congratulated the 181 provincial-level advanced exemplars, along with more than 750 role models of “Good People, Good Deeds” honored throughout the province in 2025. She noted that in 2025, amid major changes in organizational structure, apparatus, and personnel, maintaining ideological stability and fostering social consensus remain top priorities.

In that context, the profound significance and effectiveness of Program 7 have been further demonstrated, as it has strengthened community bonds and reinforced the confidence of officials, Party members, and the public in the leadership of the Party, the government, and the political system, becoming an internal driving force and a motivation for development.

During that time, effective implementation of Program 7 is regarded as the most practical solution to “promote the good to counter the bad,” contributing to the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation, the political system, and the nation.

Effectively implementing Program 7 is also the most effective solution to “use goodness to overcome evil,” contributing to the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation, safeguarding the political system, and defending the country.

Comrade Huynh Thi Hang emphasized that for Program 7 to truly go in depth and become a driving force for Dong Nai Province and the whole country to enter a new era, Party committees and organizations must continue to enhance their leadership and direction. The identification, nurturing, and replication of the role models of “Good People, Good Deeds” should be considered a regular task, closely linked with patriotic emulation movements and the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Communication content and methods should be renewed toward practicality, vividness, and timeliness, with a focus on promoting simple yet meaningful actions at all levels, sectors, localities, and across all areas of social life.

Attention should also be paid to timely, objective, and appropriate commendation and rewards, creating favorable conditions for honored exemplars to continue serving as role models in their communities.

Program 7 should be closely linked with the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, the assurance of national defense and security, and the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, thereby contributing to the rapid, sustainable, civilized, and compassionate development of Dong Nai Province.

The conference highlighted the need to strengthen coordination, monitoring, inspection, preliminary and final reviews, and substantive evaluation of the effectiveness of Program 7’s implementation; promptly draw lessons learned; replicate effective models and practices; and rectify formalistic or achievement-driven tendencies. These efforts aim to help build Dong Nai not only as a modern industrial province but also as a land rich in humanity and noble values - a truly livable place for all.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee’s Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission and the Provincial Steering Committee of Program 7 launched the emulation movement for the implementation of Program 7 in 2026 under the “Proactive - Creative – Influential - Compassionate” spirit.
