Dong Nai participates in the National Policy Forum on International Cooperation in Investment for Innovative Startups

On December 13, as part of ongoing activities within Techfest Vietnam 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Hanoi People’s Committee, organized the the National Policy Forum on  International Cooperation in Investment for Innovative Startups.

Attending the forum were Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh and leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee. Representing Dong Nai was Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

The forum focused on discussions regarding effective implementation of Government Decree No. 264/2025/ND-CP on the National Venture Capital Fund and local venture capital funds; identification of current venture capital investment trends; exploration of opportunities for international cooperation in developing venture capital investment strategies; and proposals for public–private partnership models in venture capital investment for innovative startups at both national and local levels.

At the forum, experts and speakers discussed a variety of topics, including trends in restructuring capital flows from corporations and global venture capital cooperation toward digital economic development; co-investment mechanisms and lessons for Vietnam in operating the National Venture Capital Fund; investment practices aligned with green growth and the circular economy; the perspective from intergovernmental organizations; and the role of private venture capital funds and their readiness for co-investment cooperation.

In addition, the forum featured a panel discussion on promoting trilateral investment cooperation among international financial institutions, state-backed venture capital, and private venture capital for Vietnam’s innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem.
