At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut stated that Dong Nai has a relatively large area and population. The province currently has vast development space and favorable natural conditions. At the same time, many nationally important projects and works have been invested and developed in the province. Dong Nai is pursuing a multi-sector development orientation, covering industry, urban development, trade and services, logistics, and high-tech agriculture. Notably, the Government has invested in the construction of Long Thanh International Airport in the province. Dong Nai is accelerating investment in infrastructure projects connecting to Long Thanh Airport so that, once the airport is put into operation, the province will have strong development momentum and clear orientations for the coming period.

According to the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, for Dong Nai to develop in the coming period, the province must fully leverage the potential and advantages of Long Thanh Airport. To do so, strong support and close cooperation from enterprises are needed, particularly in investing in transportation infrastructure, logistics infrastructure, and airport economic zones, to help Dong Nai achieve modern and sustainable development. Accordingly, Dong Nai hopes that China Pacific Construction Group will study development opportunities and work alongside the province in its future development orientations.

During his discussions with the provincial leader, Yan Jiehe said that China Pacific Construction Group invests in multiple sectors, including infrastructure development, education, and healthcare. He noted that the group is currently implementing several projects in various provinces across Vietnam and therefore wishes to explore investment opportunities in the above-mentioned sectors in Dong Nai.
China Pacific Construction Group plans to establish regional headquarters in five localities across Viet Nam, including Dong Nai. Therefore, the group hopes that the provincial People’s Committee and relevant departments and agencies will support and introduce suitable locations for the construction of its headquarters to operate in the province and contribute to Dong Nai’s economic growth and development.
In response to the request from China Pacific Construction Group, the provincial People’s Committee leadership agreed to assign the Department of Construction as the focal agency, in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Finance, to work with China Pacific Construction Group on implementing related tasks in the coming period.
