On the afternoon of November 25, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune launched a campaign to support residents in provinces and cities affected by recent storms and flooding. The event also introduced a new feedback model, the "Listening to the people's opinions for participation in building the Party and Government" suggestion box.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thuy, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune, read an open letter calling on all officials, Party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, residents, organizations, and businesses to uphold the tradition of “mutual love and compassion” and join hands to support communities heavily affected by storms and floods.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Thi Cat Tien, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Commune People’s Council, noted that in recent weeks, the central and Central Highlands regions have been repeatedly struck by Storms No. 11, 12, and 13, along with historically heavy rainfall, causing severe damage to lives, property, infrastructure, and production.

Secretary Nguyen Thi Cat Tien called on officials, soldiers, residents, and businesses in the commune to actively participate in the campaign and contribute to helping flood-affected communities overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

During the launch ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune received donations totaling nearly 103 million VND from local officials, public employees, workers, and teachers. The contributions will be promptly transferred to localities impacted by storms and flooding.

At the event, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Xuan Loc Commune officially launched a new initiative by unveiling the "Listening to the people's opinions for participation in building the Party and Government" suggestion box model and presented 31 suggestion boxes to hamlets across the commune.

The implementation of the suggestion box initiative aims to renew methods of receiving and processing information, enabling the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and local socio-political organizations to promptly grasp the sentiments, aspirations, petitions, and recommendations of officials, Party members, union members, association members, and residents regarding the local Party Committee, authorities, and public officials.

Through QR code scanning, the “Suggestion box” is publicly displayed at the headquarters of the commune’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, cultural houses of hamlets in Xuan Loc commune, and on communication channels of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and local socio-political organizations.

On this occasion, Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) presented a symbolic donation of two Great solidarity houses, valued at 140 million VND, to Xuan Loc commune.
