Maximizing all available resources for socio-economic development, while ensuring both the material and spiritual well-being of the people in connection with preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identities of ethnic communities was the message conveyed by Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh at the Great National Unity Festival held in Bung Se quarter, Dong Xoai ward on the morning of November 9.

Bung Se is a remote quarter of Dong Xoai ward, where ethnic minority people account for 66.8% of the population. Over the past few years, the “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” campaign has been widely implemented, yielding practical results and contributing to the transformation of the rural landscape in the locality.
Thanks to infrastructure investment from all levels and sectors, along with the efforts of residents in the locality to improve their household economies, there are now no poor households in the area, and the average annual income has reached approximately 40 million VND per person.

Speaking at the event, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Council, expressed her delight at the positive changes in local socio-economic development and the improved living conditions of residents.
Along with continued attention and investment from higher authorities, she encouraged residents in the locality to keep promoting the spirit of emulation in labor and production, actively participate in social movements and community campaigns, and join hands in developing a prosperous Dong Xoai ward.

On this occasion, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh presented flowers and gifts from the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province to officials and residents of Bung Se quarter. The locality also commended and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” campaign. Meanwhile, local benefactors presented 25 gift sets to encourage disadvantaged students in the area.
