On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – 2025), on the morning of November 19, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoang, visited Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted (Tam Hiep Ward) to extend her congratulations to the teaching staff. Also in attendance were Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Education and Training, Truong Thi Kim Hue, along with the leadership of Tam Hiep ward.

Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted was esbablished on October 14, 1994, as the first school for the gifted in former Dong Nai province. Over the years, the school has has steadily grown and established itself as one of the leading schools in the province’s education and training sector, particularly in terms of its achievements in national and provincial excellent student competitions.
The school’s teaching staff, along with many of its teachers, have been honored with numerous awards and prestigious titles. Many alumni of the school have become leaders, scientists, doctors, engineers, and successful entrepreneurs, working both in Vietnam and abroad. Notably, many former students have returned to the school to continue the educational mission alongside their former teachers, carrying forward the school’s tradition of excellence in teaching and learning.

The school’s achievements are the results of intelligence, passion, perseverance and devotion of generations of teachers who have consistently carried a passion for their profession and sense of responsibility toward their students. These accomplishments have significantly contributed to the overall development of education sector in Dong Nai province and have affirmed the school’s reputation and brand among the schools for the gifted nationwide.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang acknowledged and praised the school’s outstanding achievements, extending her best wishes to all teachers and staff on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20.
The Provincial People’s Committee leader emphasized that: Dong Nai province always regards education and training as a foundation for the province’s sustainable development. In the coming period, the province will continue to focus on investment and create favorable conditions for the school to further develop, aiming to make it a highlight in the province’s education sector and an address for identifying, nurturing, and developing talent for both the province and the country.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoang suggested that in the context of comprehensive and fundamental reforms in education and training, the school needs to continue to make greater efforts. Key tasks include the teaching staff actively studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, striving for each teacher to serve as a role model of self-learning and creativity for students. With the school’s motto: “Where knowledge exists, we strive to reach it,” each teacher should continually improve their professional qualifications, innovate teaching methods, and equip themselves with a wide range of professional skills to meet the demands of breakthrough educational development in the new era.

The school needs to continue maintaining and enhancing its areas of excellence, developing its strengths of being a school for the gifted to provide talented students with the most favourable conditions for development, training, and participation in national and international competitions. Special attention should be given to innovating teaching methods through applying digital technology, artificial intelligence, scientific research thinking, and fostering students’ creativity and innovative spirit.
The Provincial leader also emphasized that the school should focus on building a civilized and disciplined educational environment, maintaining internal unity, and promoting proper conduct. Each teacher should serve as a model of ethics, self-learning, and creativity, while each student should be a young person with ambition and a sense of responsibility. Attention should be given to holistic education, ensuring the students excel not only in knowledge but also in life skills, soft skills, physical fitness, foreign language proficiency, and the confidence to integrate internationally.

On this occassion, Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, presented 30 scholarships (each valued at 10 millions VND) on behalf of Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai to students with outstanding academic results. She also presented a cash gift of 10 million VND from Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the province’s National Assembly Delegation, to the school.
