All affiliated grassroots VWU units have successfully completed their congresses on schedule
Dong Nai has been chosen by the VWU Central Committee to host the pilot provincial congress for local units undergoing consolidation. What is the significance of this event for the VWU organization in Dong Nai?
We believe that being selected as one of the two provinces by the VWU Central Committee to host the pilot congress is not only recognition of the efforts and contributions of the Dong Nai Women’s Union, but also a source of pride, responsibility, and an opportunity to demonstrate the organization’s leadership, innovation, and pioneering spirit. At the same time, it serves as a motivation for the VWU at all levels to continue renewing its content and methods of operation, improving organizational effectiveness, and building a strong team of union officials at both provincial and grassroots levels - worthy of the trust and expectations of the VWU Central Committee, the Provincial Party Organization, and the people of Dong Nai.
The Dong Nai Women’s Union had already issued its plan for organizing the congress before being selected by the VWU Central Committee as a pilot unit. How has the provincial Women’s Union adjusted its leadership and direction in preparing for the congress to ensure progress,?
Following the decision by the VWU Central Committee to select Dong Nai as a pilot unit, the Dong Nai Women’s Union rescheduled its plan to complete grassroots congresses ahead of the original timeline.
To ensure grassroots congresses were completed on schedule, the Dong Nai Women’s Union selected the Tam Hiep Ward Women’s Union as a pilot model for other units to learn from. In addition, tThe provincial Women’s Union worked closely with local Party committees and authorities to facilitate preparations at the grassroots level. It also established working groups to conduct on-site inspections, provide guidance, and promptly address challenges. Special attention was given to training and capacity building for provincial and commune-level officers, particularly in personnel procedures, document preparation, and congress management, ensuring each event was conducted properly, effectively, and with dignity. Communication activities were also intensified through diverse initiatives tied to local emulation movements, creating an energetic and unified atmosphere among officials, members, and women across the province.
In order to keep the first Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Congress on schedule, affiliated units held their congresses earlier than planned. Did this adjustment affect the quality of their organization?
Thanks to the close guidance and leadership of the Provincial Women’s Union Standing Committee, all affiliated units under the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union have successfully completed their congresses. From our observations and participation, we found that although the schedule was advanced, the congresses at the grassroots were conducted seriously and systematically, in full compliance with the Union’s charter and higher-level guidelines. Preparations for documents, personnel, and communication were thorough, ensuring democracy and consensus among officials and members. The congresses also adopted innovative approaches, applying digital tools to enhance transparency, efficiency, and engagement. Each event was held in a dignified, practical, and cost-effective manner, ensuring safety and timeliness while improving the quality of operations and leadership capacity at the grassroots level. This provides a strong foundation for the timely organization of the first Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Congress.
Striving for a successful and impactful congress
The first Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Congress for the 2025–2030 term will take place on November 11 and 12. How are the preparations for the congress coming along?

First, we will organize briefings, training sessions, and activities within women’s clubs and local branches to convey the content, objectives, key tasks, and breakthrough priorities of the union for the new term. At the same time, all levels of the union will develop action plans to implement the congress resolutions, including term-long implementation plans, specific programs, and models linked to emulation movements, the “Five Haves, Three Cleans, Three Safeties” family initiative under the guidance of Party General Secretary To Lam, as well as activities promoting socio-economic development and improving members’ living standards.
In addition, the union will widely disseminate the congress resolutions through media channels, social networks, the union’s newsletters, and leaflets, striving to ensure that all members can access, understand, and actively participate in implementing the resolutions, thereby putting them into practice.
We sincerely thank you!
