Practical and comprehensive policies

Throughout the nation’s process of construction and development, the Party and the State have consistently affirmed that ethnic minority communities are an inseparable part of the Vietnamese people and play a vital role in maintaining the great national unity bloc. For that reason, care for ethnic minorities is not only expressed in words, but also embodied through practical and comprehensive policies aimed at ensuring that “no one is left behind.”

In recent years, a series of social welfare and socioeconomic development policies have been introduced and effectively implemented. From resettlement programs and the provision of breeding cows, housing support, and production land, to free health insurance cards and investment in the construction of ethnic minority boarding schools, all of these initiatives carry profound humanitarian significance. As a result, the material and spiritual life of ethnic minority communities has improved markedly; many households have escaped poverty, stabilized their lives, and gradually taken charge of their own future.

In Dong Nai Province, which is home to a considerable ethnic minority population, these policies have truly taken root and brought about positive change. Breeding cows delivered directly to households have created stable livelihoods; free health insurance cards have given people peace of mind in accessing healthcare; new, spacious homes have allowed families to settle down and focus on their work; and ethnic minority boarding schools as places where knowledge is cultivated and dreams are nurtured, have become vivid symbols of the care and responsibility the Party and the State extend to ethnic communities.

Beyond material support, these policies also aim to preserve traditional cultural identities and create opportunities for young generations in ethnic minority areas to develop in a well-rounded manner. This sustainable approach not only helps people escape immediate poverty but also equips them with the means to improve their livelihoods, take control of their lives, and contribute actively to the community's overall development.

Such attention and care serve as a powerful source of encouragement, reinforcing the trust of ethnic minority communities in the Party's leadership. When policies truly resonate with the people, when they can benefit from them and take initiative to move forward, it stands as a compelling testament to the spirit of “great national unity”, the strength that has guided, is guiding, and will continue to guide the nation steadily toward prosperity and happiness.

On the compassionate land of Dong Nai today, the positive transformation in both the material and spiritual lives of ethnic minority communities stands as a vivid testimony to the humanitarian spirit and effectiveness of social welfare policies. These policies have served, and continue to serve, as a source of encouragement, strengthening the confidence of ethnic groups as they unite, rise together, and contribute to building a more prosperous and civilized homeland.
