The Dong Nai Department of Construction has announced that the province will hold its first qualification exam for the real estate brokerage practice certificate in December 2025.

According to the plan, the exam will take place from 13 to 21 December 2025. Eligible candidates include Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese. The list of qualified applicants will be released five days before the exam. The deadline for application submissions is 28 November 2025.
Under the 2023 Law on Real Estate Business and its guiding decrees, individuals engaged in real estate brokerage are required to obtain a practice certificate. This requirement is intended to ensure professionalism, transparency, and improved service quality, while curbing unlicensed brokerage, price manipulation, and fraud.
Specifically, the law requires that individuals engaged in real estate brokerage must have full civil capacity, hold at least a high school diploma, complete a real estate brokerage training course, and pass the licensing exam administered by competent authorities. Those operating without a valid certificate may be subject to administrative penalties, suspension, or criminal prosecution, depending on the severity of the violation.
