Dong Nai: Tens of thousands of comments on draft documents for 14th National Party Congress

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, as part of the peak campaign to collect feedback from officials, Party members, and the public on the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress, as of 24:00 on November 13, 2025, tens of thousands of opinions had been submitted through various channels, including conferences, the VNeID application, and the postal and press system.

Specifically, a total of 81,427 opinions were submitted directly at conferences; 28,959 comments were submitted via the VNeID application; and 394 comments were submitted in writing through the letters and newspapers system.

Regarding feedback from officials, Party members, and the public on the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress, there were 110,386 opinions in total.

Specifically, feedback on the Draft Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress totaled 36,109 opinions. Feedback on the Draft Report summarizing certain theoretical and practical issues regarding Vietnam’s 40-year socialist-oriented renewal process amounted to 37,129 opinions. Feedback on the Draft Report reviewing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025), along with proposed supplementation and amendment, reached a total of 37,148 opinions.

Regarding feedback on the results of implementing the 13th National Party Congress Resolution and on the country’s foundation, potential, position, and prestige over 40 years of renewal, most opinions agreed with the assessment of the Resolution’s implementation outcomes and the country’s achievements after 40 years of renewal as presented in the draft Political Report.

In addition, some comments suggested: clearly highlighting outstanding achievements in the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices; adding data on economic growth, including comparative figures; providing more detailed results regarding science and technology tasks, innovation, digital transformation, e-government development, and the proportion of the digital economy in GRDP.

Regarding feedback on the viewpoints and objectives for building and developing the country in the new period, most opinions agreed with the content of the viewpoints and objectives as outlined in the draft Political Report…

Some feedback suggested clarifying the viewpoints on the key roles of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, the digital economy, the knowledge economy, and artificial intelligence in the country’s industrialization and modernization; and emphasizing the role of promoting grassroots democracy as an important driver to awaken patriotism and the creativity of the people.

Regarding the structure and content of the 13 national development orientations for the 2026–2030 period, most opinions agreed with the structure and content as presented in the draft Political Report.

Some comments suggested adding the content on attracting foreign investment into key sectors; including specific policies to attract and reward talented officials and experts to work and contribute at the grassroots level, especially in high-tech agriculture and healthcare; and strengthening efforts to combat corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices.

Regarding the draft Report summarizing Party building and the implementation of the Party Charter during the term of the 13th National Congress: Most opinions agreed with the assessment of Party building as presented in the draft Report.

Some comments suggested: Providing a deeper evaluation of the achievements in Party building during the past term, especially the three key tasks; diversifying the methods for studying and thoroughly understanding the Party Charter, in close association with the practical work of Party members, and avoiding formalistic approaches.

It was also suggested to clearly stipulate mechanisms to protect Party members in cases of false accusations or disciplinary measures taken without proper procedures; adding accountability of Party committee members to the Party organization and to Party members; reviewing and standardizing Party meeting procedures, simplifying formalities while still ensuring the principles of Party activities are upheld…
