Continuing the visit and relief mission to northern provinces affected by recent storms and floods, on the morning of November 4, Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Head of the province’s National Assembly delegation, delivered financial aid to Lang Son province to support recovery efforts following natural disasters.
Vu Hong Van emphasized that the support extended to Lang Son reflects the affection and solidarity of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai province toward Lang Son, with the hope that the province will soon recover from the damage and stabilize the lives of its residents. He also expressed his wish for the two provinces to continue strengthening their solidarity and cooperation across various fields.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, Vu Hong Van handed over 6 billion VND to support Lang Son’s disaster recovery efforts, including 1 billion VND earmarked for officers and soldiers of the Lang Son Provincial Police affected by the storms and floods.

On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Lang Son province, Doan Thi Hau expressed sincere gratitude for the meaningful support and solidarity from the Party Committee, authorities, people, and business community of Dong Nai province. She affirmed that Dong Nai’s assistance holds great significance, helping Lang Son mitigate the impacts of disasters, restore production, and stabilize people’s livelihoods.
Providing a brief overview of the damage caused by natural disasters, recovery efforts, socio-economic development, and the province’s national defense and security situation, Doan Thi Hau expressed her hope that the two provinces, both sharing border characteristics, will continue to strengthen their solidarity, deepen mutual ties, share work experience, and promote cooperation across multiple sectors.
